ASIA JACKSON, LCPC
EXPERIENCE
I have had the opportunity to work with both young adults and older adults experiencing substance use challenges, as well as families deeply impacted by addiction. Additionally, I have experience in working with middle and high school aged students helping them manage the pressures of school, peer relationships, and family dynamics, providing tools to cope with stress and anxiety in a constructive way.
CURRENT TREATMENT FOCUS
My focus currently is working with clients struggling with anxiety and depression, I help individuals develop practical tools to manage overwhelming emotions, build coping strategies, and regain a sense of balance in their lives. For those dealing with relationship difficulties—whether in romantic, familial, or social contexts—I aim to provide support in improving communication, resolving conflicts, and building healthier connections. I also work with individuals exploring identity concerns, such as self-worth, personal values, and life purpose, helping them gain clarity and a stronger sense of self. In addition, I work with clients struggling with substance use, offering a holistic and non-judgmental approach to recovery. I help individuals explore the underlying emotional and psychological factors that may be contributing to their substance use while providing strategies for building healthier habits and long-term recovery.
TREATMENT APPROACH AND MODALITIES
I use a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness techniques, to help clients develop effective coping strategies, build emotional resilience, and work toward meaningful change. My goal is to empower individuals to navigate stress, anxiety, relationship issues, identity exploration, and personal growth, helping them lead more balanced, fulfilling lives.
OUTSIDE OF SESSION
When I am not in session you can find me spending time with family, friends and my dog. I am obsessed with the wizarding world of Harry Potter. I also enjoy watching sports, working out or binge watching shows on Netflix.
