ETHAN CUTTLER, MS
EXPERIENCE
I have previously externed with Chase Brexton Healthcare and am currently externing at Loyola University, Maryland’s Counseling Center. Before this, I worked at the Loyola Clinical Centers as part of my training.
CURRENT TREATMENT FOCUS
I aim to create and maintain a safe, empathic, and non-judgmental space for my clients as we work to achieve life goals, develop a plan for the future, or simply share how we feel in the moment. I can work with clients age 16 and up for many different presentations, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also enjoy exploring how clients feel about who they are and what they want for the future. I have previously worked in a community setting that emphasized treatment for the LGBTQ+ community and hope to work with this community further!
TREATMENT APPROACH AND MODALITIES
I adopt an integrative therapeutic approach that combines elements from many styles and orientations of therapy, including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and acceptance and commitment therapies. This flexible approach enables me to adapt to the specific needs of each client and provide holistic, evidence-based care. I have previously assisted clients with various clinical presentations including anxiety, depression, and personality disorders. I enjoy working with clients who desire to be introspective and learn more about who they are.
OUTSIDE OF SESSION
Outside of sessions, I enjoy playing tennis, watching reality competition TV shows, and bothering my roommates with my singing!
