GABBY McCLELLAND, LCPC
EXPERIENCE
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from various backgrounds with a number of presenting concerns in outpatient settings.
CURRENT TREATMENT FOCUS
I am primarily focused on working with individuals aged 16+ who struggle with concerns including but not limited to depression, anxiety, mood concerns, life transitions, relationship issues, low self-esteem, and preoccupation with productivity and/or orderliness. My primary goal as a therapist is to empower you to take control of and restore balance in your life, allowing you to become the best version of yourself by building on the strengths that you already possess.
TREATMENT APPROACH AND MODALITIES
I provide support by looking at the whole person, not just their mental health needs. A holistic approach means exploring your physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being, and I am here to help you do that. Acknowledging that each person is unique, I meet each client where they are and tailor treatment to meet their needs and goals. I provide an eclectic approach to therapy drawing from various treatment modalities to find what best suits the individual. I primarily pull from client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and motivational interviewing.
OUTSIDE OF SESSION
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and dog, Lulu. I also enjoy reading, hiking, documentaries, and scary movies.
