SARAH FEDER, MS

EXPERIENCE

I have experience treating young adults and older adults, focusing on anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and identity-related concerns. My work includes supporting individuals navigating significant life transitions, such as job loss and relationship endings. In my prior roles, I incorporated evidence-based modalities to help clients explore meaning and values while addressing emotional and behavioral challenges.

CURRENT TREATMENT FOCUS

At Well Life, I focus on helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. I specialize in guiding clients through identity exploration, values clarification, and life transitions, such as career changes, relationship difficulties, and other life crises. My approach emphasizes understanding personal meaning to help clients make choices aligned with their values, leading to a greater sense of fulfillment. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients to address both immediate concerns and long-term personal growth. If you are navigating a challenging period, experiencing emotional distress, or seeking clarity about your path, I offer a supportive space to explore these areas and work toward positive change.

TREATMENT APPROACH AND MODALITIES

My approach is collaborative and grounded in existential psychology, with a strong focus on understanding meaning and values as a foundation for decision-making and fulfillment. I utilize an integrative style tailored to each client's needs, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt therapy, and person-centered therapy. I prioritize building a safe, comfortable therapeutic relationship to foster trust and open communication. Together, we’ll explore your experiences and challenges to identify effective strategies and pathways for growth.

OUTSIDE OF SESSION

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether hiking or exploring new parks. If I'm not outdoors, you’ll find me curled up with a good book or enjoying music. I value spending time with family and friends and appreciate quiet moments to recharge. When I can, I love finding new spaces for reflection, whether it’s a cozy spot in nature or a peaceful corner at home.
