TACARA BROWN, LMSW

EXPERIENCE

I have experience working with children and adolescents through school-based mental health and crisis response roles. My background has shaped a trauma-informed approach, allowing me to support young clients with sensitivity while creating a safe, supportive space for growth and healing.

CURRENT TREATMENT FOCUS

At Well Life, I focus on providing supportive and compassionate care to children, adolescents, individuals, and families. I work closely with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and challenges with self-esteem, helping them build coping skills and resilience. I also support youth and families navigating school-related behaviors and transitions, as well as individuals processing life changes or past trauma. My approach is collaborative and tailored, ensuring each client feels heard and empowered as they work toward their goals.

TREATMENT APPROACH AND MODALITIES

In treatment, I tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs, often incorporating approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), client-centered therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to provide compassionate and effective support. I work alongside clients to help them build skills, overcome challenges, and achieve their personal goals.

OUTSIDE OF SESSION

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring my passion for fashion, staying active through running, and getting lost in a good book. I also love traveling and discovering new places, cultures, and experiences.
